Oof.

Not much is happening at the moment. Don't be surprised if I don't post again for the next couple days. If anyone reads this...

Uuhg...

Just took a little surprise trip to the doctor's office. And got 4 surprise shots. They hurt like heck, but I kept my mouth shut. and now I'm POed at the doctors, cause they say I have to see an eye doctor and have more shots in 2 months. Something to do with sex. I mean, HeLlO people, I'm 11! Sigh. Oh well. Just thought I'd share that little tidbit.

Sorry...

About the short message. I was grumpy. Can't you tell by the hateful ending? (sarcasm, for those of you like my brother). Anyways, check out these pics my friend sent me! Isn't it crazy? These are just my favorites.

So, it's the third day of Kempo camp, and I have worked my butt off  in the first hour every day! I don't know how I make it through the rest. I think I already mentioned this, but a car crashed right by the exit to the field where we practice. And dad forgot our snacks the second day, or so we thought... Turns out they were hiding in a corner. >:-(

But yeah. Life goes on.

Tuesday, July 8

Well, this sucks.

I got a sore throat on the morning of our first band practice. And I haven't even sung anything! I'm hoping it'll clear up later.

Toodles!

I'm... So... Tired...

No, really. I just got back from my first day in Kempo camp. A normal lesson is an hour long, but in this supercamp, we get three whole hours of running and kicking and punching in 85 degree weather. :P And I have to wake up at 8:00!!!! It's not fair. But... it's worth it.

When we were about half way through camp, a couple cars crashed (or at least we think that's what it was...) right by the field. There were a bunch of ambulances and fire trucks and a couple normal cars, but I didn't get a good look, so I don't know how bad it was...

So, I'm going swimming this afternoon (well, in a couple hours really) and hopefully I can bring Zanika with me, I havn't seen her for days... I'll post again when I get back.

Sunday, July 6

Good Morning, Chaps!

Or gentle-people. Good morning, whoever you are. I would have posted earlier, but I didn't wake up till around 11:00-ish. Toby's been using the computer for FOREVER and I just managed to sneak over and get it now. I did remember to tell you who Toby is, didn't I? He's my little brother. He's obsessed with making scratch games, and though they're pretty cool, he takes forever and never spells anything right, so it's hard to tell what the characters are saying.

Anyways, I'm going canoeing with my dad today while mom and my brothers go see a baseball game. It'll be awesome, but I'll talk about it more when I get back.

Saturday, July 5

Wowzee.

I just saw Wall-E, and it was... surprising. I knew the basic plot before but all the details were unexpected and, well, good. It shouldn't have been rated G, though. I'd say PG. 'Cause, when you just think, oh, wow, they left earth, they're all fat and lazy and rely on robots to survive, that's sad. But, when you really think, oh my god, every single species must have died out, all the plants, all the life but that one cricket and little weed, it's actually pretty intense. And don't think I'm being over dramatic, it's a scary thought, and a scary truth. Because, if we don't change, that's what's gonna happen. Not in the next 50 years, maybe not even in the next 700 hundred years, as predicted, but at some point it will happen.

Okay, getting a little dramatic there, but you get the point. So, i forget what I've posted or not lately, but my brothers are gonna be at a baseball game tomorrow, soI'll have the computer to my self. Hooray! Seeya all then!

Friday, July 4

late!

Well, I didn't get many pics of the fireworks, but I'm glad I wasn't watching them through a viewfinder. It was probably the best display I've ever seen, and that's saying something.

We also went to the parade, and that was fun.

I have to go to bed, it's 10:03 and I just watched Meerkat Manor, an awesome show. See the screen in the morning!

Swimming, Fireworks and a Lack of Computers. Oh my!

Sigh. I didn't get the computer at ALL yesterday, my brothers were hogging it the first half of the day and Zanika came over at around 4:00. But we got to go swimming, and that was awesome! The water was perfect, dad got us some new inner tubes, it was maybe the best time I've ever had swimming. Well, not counting that beach in Rhode Island. The waves were huge, and practically seaweed free. I spent most of the time boogie boarding, and then me and Jude played a game we made up called "Wa Uga". Basically, we pretend we're like cavemen, and run around and scream "WA UGA WA UGA!" whenever we see a big wave. It sounds really dumb, but it's actually kinda fun.

We're going back to Rhode Island this summer, and I can't wait to show Zanika how to play Wa Uga. She coming with us, yay!

So, tonight I get to go see the fourth of july fireworks, and I might see Zanika there too. I know it sounds like I'm with her 24/7, but I hadn't seen her in WEEKS, and it's only really a day and a half. And the fireworks are AWESOME where I live, I go every year. I took Zanika last year too, we had a great time.

So, that's all for now, I guess. I'm gonna try and take pictures of the fireworks(special camera), and I'll post them later if I get any good ones.

Photos

Well, that worked fairly well. I can't post movies, though, so no domino run demos. Sorry. :)

AUGGH! GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!

I'm back, and I've got Lovecats by someone stuck in my head. We slip through the streets while everyone sleeps getting bigger and sleeker and wider and brighter, we scratch and fight and scream, wild tiger, we go the flow, all suns we know, into the sea, you and me, have years become a virtue...
Well, okay, I probably messed up some of the lyrics, but, what the heck. That's what it sounds like. So, I'm gonna try and post a picture... bum bum buuuum...

Sheeeeee's Back!

And I didn't even find a puddle of drool. How disappointing.  BUT, I did finish Twilight, a vampire love story by... one minute, let me go check.

Stephenie Meyer. And now I'm dying to read the next one. Plus, I need to get the next Maximum Ride thingamugummy. I don't even know what it's called. Sigh.

So, considering this is only my first post and all, let me fill you in. I'm Zoe, I'm 11, I have 12 chickens, 5 sheep, 2 cats, 1 dog and 1 fish. My two younger brothers, Jude and Toby, are currently playing Lego Star Wars on OUR Wii. I hate when people say stuff like, Oh, girls can't play video games, girls can't swear, you can't fight a girl, blah blah blah blah blaaaaaah! Makes me sooooo mad.

So yeah. I'm a girl. deal with it.

My friend Zanika (not her real name) is supposed to get back from maine today, and with any luck she won't be to busy unpacking to come over, or vice versa. Oh, and we live in vermont. Home of the legendary Ben and Jerrys. Best ice cream I've ever tasted. Particularly Heath Bar Crunch and Phish Food. Wait- I got sidetracked- ANYWAYS, I have blonde-ish hair, I'm tall for my age, blue-gray eyes, y'know. I like reading, music, rock climbing, sculpy, that kinda stuff. My favorite color is dark, dark purple, not that lavendery stuff people always think of.

Well, I should probably stop talking now. I will be figuring out how this blog-thingy works. Tat-ta!
